Using the events of previous films in a series, pitch a movie that could realistically follow the story, that might not be interesting to see.

Example: John Wick: Chapter 3

Synopsis: A group of assassins sit in a room, peacefully eating dinner. They talk about how happy they are that none of them have bothered John Wick. John Wick later joins the group, who welcome him warmly and don't attempt to hurt him or anything he cares about.
