Something about AMC Theaters that I've not seen discussed here ever

So, this has been bothering me for a while. Have any of you been to AMC lately, and watched that little scene that they have right before the movie, where the couples are cuddling and people have crazy looks on their faces and are enjoying their movies?

Well... there's one part in that little scene that makes me irrationally angry. It's got some guy sitting on the edge of his recliner seat with 3-D glasses on, and he POPS with excitement for some reason and spills all of his popcorn onto the floor, and then smiles about it. WTF is that? That popcorn is way, way too expensive to waste on that. There's no way that jerk would be wasting a recliner like that, and it's stupid to think that he'd be happy about spilling his snack.

I hate that scene, it always gives me a flash of annoyance when I go to AMC.
