There should be a horror movie themed around Roman soldiers

Aside from Gladiator, many modern Roman-themed movies fail financially and critically. Heck, historical-themed movies seem to fail (anything about Knights, Vikings, etc).

HOWEVER, I think it would be awesome for a low-budget horror film featuring Roman soldiers. High budget means emphasis on special effects and CGI and will likely risk not making money back. Lower budget horror films are the new trend it seems (It Follows, Get Out, A Quiet Place, It, etc). But I think it would be interesting to have a group of Roman soldiers being stalked by some monster one-by-one (sort of Romans vs. Predator).

Thoughts?
