Examples of film directors dissing critics for negative reviews of their films

I feel that the relationship between film directors and film critics is a bit strain. When a film critic gives a negative review to a film, its director seems to take it as a personal attack. The reviews of Gods of Egypt is where the director (Alex Proyas) took to Facebook and called critics " diseased vultures pecking at the bones of a dying carcass." Remember the 98' Godzilla film where Emmerich "brilliantly" incorporated characters that were parodies of Siskel & Ebert? Know any more examples of directors dissing critics?
