Observe And Report is a dark, unique and hilarious comedy which was criminally overlooked back in 2009

Aziz Ansari has a bit in one of his specials where he talks about Chic Filet, and listening to it the other day reminded me that he turns up in Observe And Report and pretty much just does a bit about Chic Filet - which led me to rewatch it tonight for the first time since 2009... It's so fucking good.. Dark, weird, laugh out loud funny, the soundtrack is great (Queen, The Band) supporting cast are amazing, genuinely flawed, yet sympathetic characters.. I feel like it got ignored because Mall Cop was out at the same time, and yeah, it's a similar concept but it's so much better.. If you've seen East Bound and Down and liked it, check this out, it's the same writer/director..
