True Lies is an absolute action classic

Seriously, I never see it on any lists of best action movies, but it's so F'ing good. An original script, hilarious dialogue, Bill Paxton, great action set pieces, and, what strikes me most watching now, AMAZING practical effects and REAL stunts. The Key West chase is batshit. If it were filmed today it would be done with CG and it would be a total snore. They really blew up those highways. They really sent trucks careering into the water. And the model work and compositing is flawless.

If you haven't seen it in a while, really, watch again! It holds up really well and I think will go down as one of the best of the 90s.
