Summary:

Lara Jean Covey, a junior in high school, writes love letters to each of her past crushes. Fairly shy and reserved, she writes as a form of catharsis, with no intention to send the letters. After the letters are sent out mysteriously to the five recipients, her quiet life takes a turn. One boy in particular, Peter Kavinsky, takes an interest in Lara Jean; the two begin forming a connection over a secret pact they make as a result of the letter.
