What was the most disappointing movie you've watched this year (so far)?

It's been Downsizing for me. I think it was a cool concept and could have been fun, but was really dull. To its credit, the effects were okay and I liked seeing the miniaturised world Matt Damon's character became part of.

That's a shame because it had a good cast which was largely wasted (especially Christoph Waltz, whose character wasn't that funny)

I hope someone else revisits the idea as I think it could be an interesting premise.
