Poor guard (The Shape of Water)

Am I the only one who feels bad for the guard in The Shape of Water? Guy was trying to do his job, a good job detecting a fake ID, and he gets stabbed in the throat!

But then again, the older I get the more I feel bad for random guards and personnel in spy/action movies who get killed. These dudes probably had families! Poor working stiffs getting shot for collecting a pay check. Shit ain’t fair.
