Are there any movies where the protagonist dies mid-way ?

I had this kind of a wierd question but bear with me lol

Like are there any movies where the portagonist dies mid-way during the film and then another character becomes the protagonist ?

I am not talking about like an ensemble cast like the Avengers. where there are more than one protagoinsts. I'm talking about where the there is one Main actor and when they die a supporting character becomes the lead.
