Movies like Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow?
I've just finished watching Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow and I have to say it was much more fun than I remember. I remember seeing it in cinemas back in the day and was somewhat unimpressed by the blurry visuals and bizarre setting. I now see the style of the film for what it is and enjoyed the dieselpunk/retro futuristic setting and interesting cinematography. I would generally consider it to be an action/adventure/sci-fi, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of similar movies? A few that jump to mind are: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The City of Lost Children (art style) and maybe even Captain America. I was wondering what everyone else thinks?
