Ninja Scroll is a solid action film

Ninja Scroll is such an amazing film, not just as an anime but as an action/martial arts film. From the opening scene on the bridge, to the Koga ninja team slaughter to Jubei facing the Devils of Kimone and the final battle on the ship, Ninja Scroll is a solid action film.

Fun fact, Ninja Scroll was one of three anime films cited as an influence on The Matrix (along with Akira and Ghost In The Shell).
