An update on the AMC popcorn guy:

I’ve seen multiple people criticize the video played before films at AMC theaters, specifically the guy in the video who gets excited and throws his popcorn up in the air, presumably ruining everyone else’s experience in the theater.

It seems like AMC may have heard the complaints, because now the video shows the popcorn man quietly eating and enjoying the movie. I’ve been multiple times now and they’ve shown the new version each time.

Figured some of you on this subreddit would be interested/pleased.
