A Mexican director has won the Oscar for Best Directing five times in the past six year

The "three amigos" (Cuarón, Iñárritu, Guillermo Del Toro) are proving Mexico to be where the talent's at

2013: Alfonso Cuarón - Gravity

2014: Alejandro González Iñárritu - Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

2015: Alejandro González Iñárritu - The Revenant

2016: Damien Chazelle - La La Land

2017: Guillermo Del Toro - The Shape of Water

2018: Alfonso Cuarón - Roma

and The Shape of Water wasn't even one of my most favorite movies in 2017, but I'm really hoping it means that Guillermo is gonna be getting a lot of projects actually done after Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Anyone know what other projects the three of them have in development?
