Sorry, but Battle Angel is not a "whitewashing movie"

That is simply not correct. Iron City in both the movie and the original source material is not located in Japan. It is a melting pot which humans, especially cyborgs, from all over the world migrates to, mostly because Tiphares is the only surviving city of its kind in the world. The author of the article has obvioulsy not read the comic or interviews with the moviemakers.
