You Were Never Really Here is fucking amazing

If you havent seen it already, please do yourself a favor (it's in Amazon Prime). You'll need some time to process it after but God damn is this an amazing thriller film.

It's has a very tight and intelligent script. This is the second time I've watched it and I was still at the edge of my seat. God bless Lynne Ramsay. I havent seen her work before this but I am definitely going to look out for her and her films in the future after this one. The score is outstanding by the way.

Oh and Joaquin fucking Phoenix plays a huge hulking damaged man so brillaintly. His performance alone (which he was awarded for at the Cannes film festival) warrants an 1 hour and 30 minutes of your time. Definitely cemented him as my favorite actor.

I'm pretty confused as to why I haven't heard of this film anywhere and only came across it when looking through Phoenix's filmography.
