What's your favorite movie where the protagonist isn't the hero?

For me it's Big Trouble in Little China; Jack Burton as the hapless protagonist that is just trying to get his truck back while the actual hero of the story, Wang Chi, drags him along as his unwitting sidekick. Jack is a mostly clueless person, who will tell you that he's the greatest hero ever, but mostly is inept at anything other than just being Jack Burton.
