The fake out death in movies, especially animated ones, is getting really old.

I'm tired of seeing a movie, seeing an extremely likeable cheery character, and immediately knowing s/he's going to sacrifice themselves for their friends just to be brought back by magic and friendship. It's so overdone and makes movies predictable. Also when the character spends the whole movie changing as a person just to betray the person who's been helping them. And then having a moment of realization where they go back to help the kid/sensei/etc. (One of these 2 is absolutely going to be the ending to "My Spy")
