What roles retroactively seem out of place now because the actor got much more famous later on?

For example, Bradley Cooper played the douchey fiance in Wedding Crashers. It's a role that any handsome dude could have played but he ended up becoming an A-lister later on.

The biggest ones for me would be Amy Adams' early roles. She played some random love interest for Jim on The Office and also did a bit part in That 70's Show. Rewatching those episodes feels so weird now because she's gotten give Oscar nominations since then. I'm pretty sure she was only cast on The Office because she sorta looked like Pam so they probably had no idea what kind of talent they were working with.

Also, Octavia Spencer played the lady in Spider-Man 1 that told Tobey Maguire the wrestling company was not legally responsible for any injuries he might sustain when fighting Bonesaw.
