What Scene Makes You Think "Oh Wow... *This* Is Acting"
I'm curious what this sub thinks are some of the best acted scenes of all time. Not necessarily whole performances (though those count too) but just a simple scene where the performer absolutely knocked your socks off. The kind of thing you would show to an alien that came down to Earth and asked you what this human thing called acting was.
Some offerings of my own:
Chris Walken in the Russian Roulette Scene in The Deer Hunter
Heath Ledger talking to Bruce's girlfriend at the party
Al Pacino listening to Diane Keaton when she says she had her abortion
Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster's first meeting in Silence of The Lambs
What is your candidate?
