Tonight I noticed that the creepy "Prowler sound" from SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE is basically Miles' theme backwards.

Here's a little experiment I did in Adobe Audition.

All I did was lay a section of "The Prowler" — played in reverse — underneath the track titled "Shoulder Touch". (The speed is reduced by 35% for timing - there's no pitch shift though.)

It's beautiful symmetry. One rising, one falling.

Kudos to Daniel Pemberton for his nuanced score.
