Just finished first viewing of Conan The Barbarian (‘82). It’s so fun.

I’m so into the production design of this movie. The locations, the costumes, it’s all so weird and ridiculous and I love it. It’s great how little world building it does, it trusts the audience’s ability to fill in the gaps for ourselves, something I think is lacking in modern fantasy/sci-fi/epics (with the exception of Fury Road).

T2 and Predator were such staples of my childhood, I wish I had discovered this back then but I’m stoked to have found it now.
