Movies that were way deeper than you originally assumed?

What are your favourite examples of movies that you went into expecting it to be lighthearted or just predictable, and instead totally changed your expectations and were way heavier or surprising in their final execution?

The one I always think back to is Click. I feel like everyone expected some time hijinks with Adam Sandler and definitely were not ready to be tearing up with existential sadness.
