Roadhouse!!!

Watched this movie a few times and yes it’s bad, but damn it’s so good. Released in 1989, it is everything 80s action movies represented but on a micro scale. Patrick Swayze is the bad ass hero with karate moves (SPOILER: He rips a guy’s throat out), who only wants to do his job and be nice, and has a mysterious past. His love interest is a very attractive doctor, and the villain is an ordinary sociopath who doesn’t want to take over the world, but just run a small town outside of Kansas City. The best part is the quotable dialogue that ties it all together! Oh and I can’t forget Sam Elliot, the mentor! Definitely a great “so bad, it’s good” film.
