What's a movie that made more sense after you watched the deleted scenes?

For me, it has to be Amadeus. There's a scene in the director's cut where Mozart's wife asks Salieri for help in getting Mozart’s work noticed by the larger crowd. Salieri implies that she would have to visit him and give some sort of sexual favor in exchange for his access. She goes to him and is almost ready to give in, stripping half naked, when Salieri calls in his maid to see her out, embarrassing her. She spends the rest of the movie angry at him, and I never could figure out why she had such a flip in emotions since this was cut from the original. It changes the ending entirely when she wouldn't give Salieri the music notes he and Mozart worked on.
