It just occurred to me, is it more difficult to judge bad acting when watching a foreign film?

After watching multiple foreign films this year and really loving them, I started to think about some of the acting I was watching. It occurred to me that I was obviously a fan of what I was seeing but when I thought about if the performance blew me away... and I just couldn’t say for sure.

It does highlight if anything that the delivery of words by the actor/actress is equally as important as facial emotion and body language etc. And when watching a foreign movie we just automatically presume that the words are being delivered to a high standard.
