Actors who were having a great rise to fame and then just disappeared/fell off hard?

This is a topic that's always intrigued me.... Actors who were either on top of the world and making hit after hit who suddenly fell off and never recovered to actors who had one promising role, then took a mistep and were never heard of again.

I'm thinking something like John Travolta with his career rejuvenation with Pulp Fiction and a few other 90s movies, to just suddenly being consumed by scientology and making terrible direct to DVD trash. Sure it's his fault, but it's still an interesting topic.

Where's Cameron Díaz and Orlando Bloom these days?
