Apocalypto

I just finished watching Apocalypto (yes I'm years late). What a masterpiece of film making! I loved the theme of fear running through the film, combined with the almost overwhelming gore it made for a gripping watch. Such intense action. The all local cast were excellent and very believable.

In my opinion this is Mel Gibson's best work I've seen. That guy knows how to make great movies.
