Christian Bale deserved an Oscar nomination for Ford v Ferrari.

I personally believe that Christian Bale deserved an Oscar nomination for the movie.

I have never watched motor sport in my life, let alone a 24 Hr Le Mans, but boy, this movie was something else. Christian Bale lives the character of Ken Miles. You know the feeling you get when you see a character and realise that the real person must be exactly the same? Bale generates that exact feeling. From his subtle head movements to his serious car technicality discussion, everything was spot on. I think he atleast deserved a nomination, what do you all think about it?
