Is it abnormal for the review embargo for Birds of Prey to still be going on this close to opening?

I keep checking Rotten Tomatoes because I'm interested in how the movie gets reviewed, but it's still under embargo I suppose, which is odd to me that it's still ongoing being so close to opening. Is this out of the ordinary? All the other releases this week have reviews. There was some initial screening that seemed to have generally positive reviews, so I'd be surprised if it was a complete bomb.
