It's really going to suck if Theaters do not come back from all this.

Right now, justifiably, many theaters are closed and movies are instead being released for digital downloads. I worry that once it's safe for them to open back up, that the tide may have already been shifted and that that theaters may lose their popularity.

Watching a movie at a theater is an experience that just can't compare to the home experience. Sadly, I feel like this is a controversial opinion on Reddit with many pointing to their own home theater systems. For me though, it's more than the qualities of the picture and sound it's the experience if going into a multiplex, smelling the smell of popcorn, seeing all the posters, and sitting down and watching the movie. It's a social experience even if you're alone. It's really gonna suck if they go out of fashion.
