Jeremy Renner’s acting as James Couglin in “The Town” deserves more credit than it is given.

Just rewatched “the town” in 4 years. I liked it after the first viewing and thought it was a great heist movie.

After watching Jeremy Renner’s character, Jem, I could feel how volatile and scary his character was. I couldn’t believe this was the guy who played Hawkeye. He’s just so menacing and he has that look in his eye that he could snap at any minute. Amazing performance and film.
