Was The Mummy (1999) the last great adventure movie?

The only other one that comes close (and imo might even be better) is Spielberg’s Tintin, which is in desperate need of a sequel.

Every time The Mummy is on I can’t help but watch it through. It has such a perfect combination of humor, thrills, and charm.

I love this genre and hope we get a revival of sorts, not holding out much hope for a new Indiana Jones, and we all know the Uncharted film is likely never actually going to be made.
