Eddie Murphy was comedy gold in the 1980's. He made hit after hit for almost a decade. They were well directed, acted, edited, and told a great story.

Classic after classic all while making two of the biggest comedy specials that are still talked about to this day.

48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop I & II, Golden Child, Trading Places, Coming to America (probably the best "rom-com" of all time). All classics.

His movies were put together so well and told a great story. Eddie had the ability to make a regular situation and just make it funny.
