Hi! I’m Ken Kwapis and I’ve been a director for over thirty years. I helped launch such shows as The Office, and I’ve directed a variety of features, among them He’s Just Not That Into You and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I’d love to share my directorial adventures with you. AMA.

I’m Ken Kwapis, feature film and television director, and author of But What I Really Want to Do Is Direct(check out my book here ). I’ve been at the helm of eleven feature films and helped launched nine television series. I’m excited to pass along wisdom about the directing craft, along with tips on how to measure success on your own terms in show business. There are more than a few life lessons to glean from the directing process. Anyone in a leadership or management position will enjoy my struggles to wrangle a sometimes unruly group of colleagues.
