One thing 'Onward' did really well

One detail that made me love Onward (even more) was the bigger brother's reaction to his little brother having magic powers. He clearly wanted powers himself, more so than almost everyone on the entire planet I reckon. The instant happiness truly showed how he felt for his brother and their relationship was as clear as day.

I feel like most stories would have his character get mad and start some drama in these types of situations. In this case, Pixar nailed it and the finale had me in tears with a great payoff. The brother dynamic was amazing and this was among the best animated movies I've seen. What are your thoughts on it?
