What’s a film that made you surprised when you found out who directed it?

For me: Thelma and Louise. Seeing that film and how simple and so “indie” it felt and then finding out that RIDLEY SCOTT directed it blew my mind and just showed me that that man can direct any type of movie. Going from Blade Runner and Alien to a movie about two girl best friends on the run on a road trip is such a different leap from his style that it strangely works.
