Boogie Nights is such an incredible film.

This was the first film from PTA that I have seen, and for someone in his mid-twenties making this film, he really nailed it. Boogie Nights is a sprawling and bold look at stardom, the industry, and family. PTA shows the 70's as a fun ride that the characters enjoy, and the 80's with the fun diminishing and things going downhill for everyone. Not the biggest fan of Mark Wahlberg but he is really great in this. Burt Reynolds and Julianne Moore are fantastic as well. The soundtrack is pretty lit too.
