Does it bum anyone else out that you missed out on truly experiencing iconic films because they were so integrated into pop culture by the time you saw them that you already knew about the famous scenes?

I hope my title makes sense. Basically, i always wonder how cool it would to experience those iconic films blind, without having any idea what was coming

I’m hesitant to even give examples because I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’m talking like the famous alien scene, the iconic scenes in the shining, things like that

So many awesome movies that I already knew the gist of because they were parodied in things like the Simpsons. So many scenes spoiled for me from growing up watching the Simpsons haha
