IMDb's new design is horrible

The new layout requires three times the space to show the same amount of information. Everything is huge and in your face but all that does is make it obscure and unintuitive. There was always a lot of information on IMDb pages, but at least it was easy on the eyes, clear and intuitive.

It's just an incoherent mess. Actually, it looks exactly like one of those pages you used to have back in the day, where you add widget after widget after widget and none of them align nor do they have the same style and colors.

I've been a member for over 15 years and there have been several changes over the years that learned to live with. The homepage, for example. I used to frequently visit it for the information on it, but after its design changed, I never went there again. Another notable one was how you used to be able to drag-and-drop items in your lists. What an amazing feature. Gone now, of course.

This design overhaul is different, because it prevents you from what I think is IMDb's primary purpose: provide you with quick and easy access to information about movies and tv shows. Navigating to any movie or tv show page now just makes me scream internally.

Are there any alternatives?
