Contagion (2011) deserves a retrospective award

I saw it for a 3rd time and they nailed everything almost to perfection. From "not a big deal, no need to panic" to vaccine hesitancy.

I know they don't have any retrospective awards but no one knew what a pandemic was until now and that makes people see this movie at a completely different light than when it came out in 2011.

I remember seeing the movie back in February 2020 before COVID really exploded and wishing that some of the things didn't come true in real life and they did.

the movie is almost a 10/10 based on everything we know. Hopefully a future Contagion movie can maybe nail the things Contagion couldn't. But god damn where they close to perfection.
