Excellent Performances In Awful Movies

What are performances that stand out as being great despite their movies being anything but?

For me, the ultimate example is Raul Julia’s final performance in Street Figther. That movie is complete and utter crap whenever he’s not onscreen. But when he’s around, he makes the most of every single second and turns depthless camp into something truly engaging and entertaining.
