Brittany Murphy will always be one of the saddest Hollywood stories

In the 2000s, she was huge: Sin City, Just Married, Don't Say a Word, Happy Feet, Uptown Girls...Then, her movies started to go straight to Video or barely released. And then the way she went.

I won't say it was unexpected because for months, something was off about her and the guy she was with, but I don't think we expected her to die in such a tragic way.

The sad thing is that Murphy was very talented. When she got a great role, she slayed. I mean, watch her in CLUELESS, GIRL INTERRUPTED and the very underrated THE DEAD GIRL.
