Martin Scorsese's "Silence" is a masterpiece!

I have been on a movie watching spree and have been watching all of Scorsese's movies as I stumbled upon one of his least talked about movies of the previous decade "Silence" and my God what a movie it is. Without spoiling anything, it is based on a simple idea about our prayers to God and what we get in return - Silence.

To have such a simple idea and make such a compelling movie out of it speaks about the genius that Martin Scorsese is. All around brilliant acting from Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver and the evergreen Liam Neeson. The film is set in a Japanese background and the Japanese actors have performed really well as well.

And the ending, my gosh it will leave you thinking, thinking about meaning of life, faith, religion, God, spirituality and even your own existence.

A must watch Scorsese classic!
