Who is the most evil character you've seen in a movie?

I recently watched The Patriot (2000) again on Netflix after a long time, and there's something about Jason Isaacs as Col. Tavington in that that I just find particularly menacing. So cold. Zero empathy. No emotion in his eyes. He's brutal in this. Killing kids, burning down a church full of people, etc, like it's nothing. Isaacs is great at playing villains in general but he's just so evil in this. Of course, there are so many other characters in movies who are evil. What about you guys? Who do you find particularly evil?
