Death of Stalin is such an unbelievable movie

First off everyone speaking in wildly English accents is hilarious they don't even try to pretend to be Russian, you can absolutely sense the fear and horror of Stalin by the people at the music hall, Stalin's like miles away and they all think he's gonna shoot them within seconds. When they get the second conductor and he preforms so they can get another recording in his pajamas was a true story! Happened about 9 years earlier but a true story and just shows how not a single person in the entire union has said no to Stalin in like 2 decades. Georgy Zhukov having enough charisma and stamina to impregnate an entire seaboard is totally accurate and hilarious I absolutely adore it. Beria being a complete monster but also kinda funny even as he was being executed was wild, Malenkov being incompetent instead of Beria's strongest ally was an artistic choice and i guess just an idea to not have too many villains and ngl I enjoyed it far more than if he teamed up with Beria like he did in real life. The speeches they all gave at Stalins funeral and then Khrushchev not speaking was eerie and smart as hell, they all are trying to buy the support of the public while he's already consolidated power. Getting the doctors is hilarious because they are just so casual and incompetent and then competent and ruthless in the next scene. Then when they examine Stalin's brain and body and they are still complementing a dead man to show their loyalty is just so fun. Not even mentioning Stalins son and Svetlana who is absolutely perfect, as is Vasily who steals every scene he is in. Absolutely perfect film 10/10.
