Name a movie that didnt need a trilogy/franchise

For me Taken it was the first movie imo that was Great and had to be done no sequel being needed . The 2nd and 3rd was pointless. His daughter gets kidnapped in the 1st , his wife gets kidnapped in the 2nd and his wife gets killed and he gets framed for it. It completely made no sense . There was no need for sequel .
