A thought I had about “The Polar Express” (2004)

There’s a scene where this boy named Billy who’s implied to be living in poverty sings about how he never has experienced a true Christmas. It’s a sad song that is implying Billy’s family’s socioeconomic status and how his parents couldn’t afford to buy him things for a “true christmas”

However…. The children visit the North Pole and see Santa. Which implies that Santa is real and just doesn’t deliver to everyone. Specifically those with a lower socioeconomic status
