Ever saw a movie where you felt an actor was half-assing it, phoning it, and just wanted to get it over with?

This morning Youtube randomly recommended a Jimmy Fallon video, of him interviewing De Niro from a few years ago. As I was watching it, I had the distinct feeling that De Niro didn't want to be there and just wanted to get this over with.

Reminded me of a play I had gone to where I felt the main actor wasn't really into it. He was saying the right things and showing the right emotions but seemed robotic. Later I heard he had a major argument with the director that same day and was quitting but had to perform for the rest of the month. No surprise his heart wasn't it in it.

But does this happen in the movies too? Must be difficult to detect. I mean they can do multiple takes, use the best angles, and edit whole scenes out. Nevertheless, I wonder if you've seen movies where you had the intuition that an actor didn't really want to be in there for whatever reason and was there maybe just for the paycheck or because the contract required it or just because they weren't offered any better roles....
