What are some of your favorite original songs made for movies?

Two songs in particular standout to me, which also gives away my taste in music(80's!)

1) The Lost Boys(1987): "Cry Little Sister", song by Gerard McMahon

The whole soundtrack slaps! Their take on "People are Strange" was great as well.

2) Critters(1986): "Power of the Night", song by Terrance Mann

This song was performed by a fictional rockstar written for the movie, but was sooo good that I'm surprised it didn't launch an actor into the spotlight as a real rocker/musician!
